What is a celebrant? 

We are creators of magic. We are storytellers. We are dream makers. We are fairy god people. We are passionate about making your fantasies a reality. We lead any ceremony you can imagine, and we tailor it perfectly to you. We are not restricted. We live without limits. And we provide excellent guidance 

  

What ceremonies do you offer? 

I am trained in delivering “couple” and “naming” ceremonies, I am not yet trained to deliver funerals 

“Couple” ceremonies are not limited to two partners; throuples and polycules please contact. Wedding celebrations, commitment ceremonies, renewal of vows, civil partnership celebrations. 

“Naming” ceremonies are not limited to babies. If you want to welcome a child of any age, however they’ve joined your family, please contact me. Also if you’re looking to celebrate step children joining together as one family. I am especially interested in offering change of name ceremonies, particularly to non binary people to people who have transitioned 

Celebrants do not offer legally binding ceremonies. This means if you are looking to legally marry, you will need to do this before or after your ceremony with me. However, if you are not looking to legally marry, or are already legally married to someone else, then we can just go straight ahead!  

I can also offer celebrations of business ventures, house purchases, divorce, pet welcomings - I do however not offer pet weddings 

  

Can you do funerals? 

I would like to offer Celebrations of Life, Funerals and Memorials in the future but have not yet completed my training  

  

Can you do spiritual ceremonies? 

Celebrants can add any elements you desire. I have experience with handfasting and am looking to complete training with a Sacred Celebrant and Priestess 

  

What if I want a family or friend to deliver the ceremony? 

I’m more than happy to help negotiate the ceremony and write the script if you want someone else to deliver, we can discuss fees depending on involvement. You can have a celebrant led ceremony with readings or performances from family and friends. They can make promises too 

  

What qualifications do you have? 

I have completed a Level 3 Diploma in Celebrancy: Naming and Couples (RQF) with Civil Ceremonies Ltd 

  

What else can be included? 

Anything you want! You can have music, readings, videos played, sand ceremonies, certificate signing, candle lighting, stone ceremonies, cocktail making, wine drinking, broom jumping, ribbon tying, whatever your dreams, we’ll work out how to implement this into your important day 

To include a symbolic action section or sections in your ceremony has no extra cost, this is included in the script writing, however, if you are not providing the supplies there will be an additional cost. We’ll discuss this beforehand, hidden costs are not the kind of surprises I enjoy! 

  

Can you help me write my vows or promises? 

Absolutely, I would be delighted to help! You can give me ideas and I’ll write them for you, or you can write your own and I will help finesse them  

  

Do you conduct ceremonies for same sex couples/parents? 

Of course! There is no reason anyone shouldn't! I’m pan, I'm a trans ally, my pronouns are she/they, tell me yours so I can make sure to address you as you prefer 

  

You work with children, are you DBS checked? 

Indeed I am! Please feel free to ask to see my certificate 

  

What do you charge? 

“Couple” ceremonies start from £660 and “Naming” ceremonies from £330. Anything that doesn't fall into these categories we can discuss when you make initial contact 

Within this cost I will travel up to 40 miles, each way. In addition to our first meeting, we will have a pre-ceremony meeting to make sure you’re happy with your story I’m telling and we can walk through any movements and actions. Telephone and other contact is limitless, I want to make sure everything is perfect for you. I will also send you a presentation keepsake script by post after your ceremony day so you can cherish the memories made 

I charge a 20% non refundable deposit and this must be paid within 7-days of the booking being received to secure the date. I then request the remaining balance to be made before a draft script is sent to you - this is usually due 4-weeks before the ceremony. If the ceremony is within 6-weeks I request the full amount 

  

Will you travel further than 40 miles? 

Absolutely! If we’re the right fit then I will happily travel further, there will be additional time and travel costs but we’ll discuss these and I’ll let you know how much before you commit to using my services
